This is going to be a great occasion. Lashings have for decades had an international reputation for their cricket fundraisers and have done so much for so many worthwhile causes. This is their first venture into Football and we are privileged to be their first joint venture partners. This game will hopefully be the first of annual events. The proceeds will be split between the Club and Lashings and we are so very much looking forward to a hugely successful afternoon and early evening with a race night following on at 6pm at the Centenary Club Wimborne Rd- plenty of free parking in the Stadium car park opposite, courtesy of PTFC Director and Stadium Manager Shaun Spencer-Perkins. Tickets are £6 for the game,or £15 for the game plus the Racenight or there is a £50 VIP ticket to include a pre- matchmeal and a meet and greet session with the Lashings celebrities. The Non League “Legends” side being put together by Commercial Manager Alex Pike is full of semi pro household names including a host of former Poole Town favourites. It will be a brilliant reunion apart from anything else! Huge effort is being invested in this occasion and I urge all Poole Supporters to buytickets and also spread the word so that we ensure the best possible attendance. Yes you can Dave but if anyone wants to go to the Race night afterwards it would be wise to buy a £15 ticket in advance.
The list of players in Pippa’s posting omits fact that Graham Kemp,Jamie Sturgess,Nicky Bridle,Simon Browne,Justin Bennett and Jason Lovell all used to play for us so all in all there are ten ex Dolphins in the Legends squad.
