Boots says he's slimmed down now and is under 14st. I think.. Dont really believe him though.. He also said his scoring touch hasnt deserted him and hes notching regularly in LA A-League!
Also he's off burgers and beer! what do you reckon.. Worth putting in a bid!
No I didnt think so either!

Dave i think you are being a bit unfair on TK, he has given the young players the opportunity.to play first team football...maybe not as much as could be, if he feels they are not ready yet...thats TK decision. little birdie has it wrong.
Its always hard when people have and are entitled to their opions.
PTFC are progressing who thought we would be in the position we are now in the league, one cup final, another semi, mid table.
Yes these young players are hungry to play first team football but they have to be patient. It takes time.

I feel I must answer on behalf of Tom and Chris the suggestion that the former is only going through the motions at PTFC. There has never been the slightest indication that he is unhappy with us and bearing in mind the time it has taken to get him down at the Tatnam don't you think Chris would have leaned on him years ago? Tom is very much his own man in the football arena and we should focus on the positives this season has brought to us. I am really at a loss to know how he has given the impression of being 'disinterested'. Matchdays at Poole are more enjoyable than when we were in the Hampshire and I ,for one , am grateful for the team of players and helpers he has assembled and the success this has engendered so far.

:)Keep up the good work tommy your doing well. A few years back we were on the verge of going bust. Some supporters expect too much in our first season of top flight wessex league football. We are doing better than some of the more established teams in the league. Unfortunately as i live in london now i cant get to the poole town games but i will hopefully get to the senior cup final. All the best to everyone at poole town up the dolphins! regards physcho

Pardon??? Playground? I belive that I have left school?? wel I had last time i checked?? Dont have a go at me!1 Im just standing and saying what a majority of the fans have said to me? Perhaps Im not in a position to say what I have said but at least im standing up and saying what many people have said to me. I know we are no chelsea so I thought what might be said about players/managers would have a bit of truth behind it?? I havent heard tommy say anything about this??? Is he hiding some where or just embarrased about the situation???

No reply Dave (surely its not to late no school tomorrow) well i will guess you will be identified tomorrow with your sack Tom banners with all the other supporters. But dont worry Poole have a really hard month coming up and we may lose one of the games then you can have a real go.
To Steve Bean you have provided us with a great web site but to stop any further embarrassment to the club maybe its time to take actions to stop these (mine included was trying to embarrass people to stop making poor postings) silly postings.
1. Possibly make it members only site so we have records of e-mail.
2. Stop the forum totally we have a club call and im sure the directors managment players will be willing to have a fans forum once a month at the club where they can answer any questions or concerns.
This will be my last posting and will now not be looking on the forum again Regards

Dave - identify yourself and identify some of the fans that are saying these things. Otherwise I can only dismiss you as someone with a grudge or hidden agenda to pursue. Anyone could come on here and try and stir things up in the way you have - I don't think a true supporter wouldn't go about things this way.
As for Tom not saying anything or hiding - this is not an offical website (as I've said several times before), and I don't think for one minute he needs to lower himself to your level. Remember, you have the luxury of hiding behind what may not even be your name when you post on here. I can't believe you think that whatever you might contribute to the club (if anything) gives you the right to demand Tom replies to your post. Others defend him and you say "Don't have a go at me", which is exactly what you've done to Tom, on the basis of hearsay at best. You should be embarrassed at your own immaturity.
As others have said, show the courage of your convictions and make yourself known tomorrow if you feel so strongly. I'll be very sad (and surprised) if you're someone I know.
BTW, Tom didn't seem short of heart at Andover last weekend!

To TC, yes I understand your concerns over the silly postings and I've said a few times before that if necessary I can make the messageboard moderated (I see all postings before they go up) or people have to register to post.
Up to now I've avoided this as 95% of postings are great / constructive and make it an interesting place to visit. However, this site, like every other footie site, is open to idiots (and yes 'Dave' that is how you are acting) to come on and 'stir' things up. Quite commonly supporters from rival clubs make comments like these in an effort to unsettle a club they don't like.
As far as Dave is concerned I just don't believe a word of what you say. You reckon that 'many people' and the 'majority of supporters' you have spoken to believe that Tommy's heart isn't in it?? That is complete rubbish.
I'm sure between myself, Doug, Chris and Clive, WE speak to the majority of Poole supporters and I do not know ONE person who even remotely believes what you say. I doubt that you even go to Poole games - if you did you would know just how much it does mean to Tommy and all his team. Since he became manager he has shown nothing but total commitment and a will to win. He was no different as a player and has carried that on to management. I personally prefer to see a manager wear his heart on his sleeve in the same way that Pete Moore did a few seasons back.
Every supporter I talk to (consdierably more than you I would guess) believes in him and the team and it's not as though the results don't back that up is it?
As Doug has said, this is not an official website and therefore I'm not some voice of the Club. I'm simply a supporter of Poole Town and one thing I do know is that any real supporter of the Club would know just what rubbish your views are.
Welcome to hear others views re this messageboard,
Can't be at the game V Poppies today so please give them a shout from me,
Cheers,
Steve

I think it would be a shame if the messageboard has to be closed because of a couple of people ruining it for everyone else, however would have no objections if you had to register and leave an e-mail address if it was felt that this was the thing required to stop these people trying to stir up trouble, although I would hope that could be avoided.
Dont think we should have to ring clubcall to hear the latest news, Ive no doubt it brings in valuable revenue, however I just cannot afford to keep ringing it at 60p a minute, and feel that I make a contribution by buying a programme every week and hope to read the latest news in there.
How would Tom and the directors feel about having a question and answer forum on here where you would have to register to post a question to any of them? Of course dubious questions could not be answered however it could put a stop to all these trouble makers starting unfounded rumours. (although I do appreciate that Clive and Chris already post frequently on here)
With regards to Tom, I feel he has been a breath of fresh air since he joined our club, and I have found this season most enjoyable. We are back in the wessex league where we belong, and we have a team that is competitive and playing good football. He certainly has my full support as do the directors who have done such a wonderful job to get us where we are. I have certainly not come across a single supporter who has said any different. So keep up the good work guys.
P.S Going back to how this thread started, great to hear Aaron is banging the goals in, in the USA. Top lad, and a great player (when fit!! ;D)
