Rumour has it that at the end of the season a few of the youngsters will be leaving. Not to mention the likes of Byrom, Hancocks, Snell and Nisbet. It is said to be because of the lack of organisation and quite a few clubs are not being quiet about interest in these youngsters......surely we want to keep hold of these oung talents?

Rumours........ yes other clubs are interested, this season we have have underachieved our potential.
We have suffered due to no fault of PTFC, fixtures have not been frequent due to weather, cancellations etc, at this moment in time we have not played for nearly a month.
We have asked for midweek games due to having floodlights, we are still waiting.
Hence why PTFC are considering a move to the Wessex combination leagues, which would benefit PTFC, more games, including midweek fixtures.
We will not stop anyone leaving PTFC, the door is always open to return.
However rumors should not always be taken seriously. These players were given a chance at the age of 16 and are now two years down the road they are hungry to play.
try and use your name when making a valued comment, no one can knock you for having your concerns/say especially if you show who you are. Thanks

Yes I also heard this!! Apparantly clubs like Chippenham and Exeter to name a few. Also teams like Christchurch, Wimborne and Hamworthy?? Could this be that Poole Town is loosing its Draw due to lack of fixtures and opportunities meaning players are talking or that its just a silly rumour? Maybe just my opinion but this might have some ground a touch of truth??

Every time it seems I come on this site, this youngster is leaving or that youngster is wanted by someone, we are not stupid if it was true??? these clubs would have to go through the correct channels to approach them ie 7 day approach, if they are to leave at the end of the season so be it, they will be replaced, why would these clubs leave it to the end of the season and risk these youngsters going elsewhere, it happens at every level of football including I suspect some of the current 1st team may not be hear next season!! I don't think putting things like this on the message board will suddenly jolt TK in to picking them, indeed it will have the opposite effect. And lets be honest if they were all as good as is suggested why are we 4 from bottom of the DSL? That said most of the youngsters have been a breath of fresh air just be patient your chance will come. if the clubs mentioned are so keen on our youngsters what is it TK is missing, that the people who post these comments seem to know better about.

I am in total agreement with MM. The constant postings about the young players is an embarrassment to this forum and to the club. If you look at any other non league website there is very little about their reserves and most other non league clubs reserves are doing a lot better than our youngsters. I beleive that if the youngsters are not able to get close to the first team then they should be asked to leave and new ones brought in. The club is on the up and and there must be new young fresh players out there who are willing to keep there heads down work hard and try to better themselves, by working hard i mean not on their keyboards. Come on its now time to make the forum a credit like the rest of the club
