Great performance from every poole player, Alot of the new players from the reserves did very well for one of their first games. Shame about the referee though!

Which players from the reserves? We all know Boris, and Ian Richardson is a new signing from Salisbury.

I wonder why we run a Res team or have a large squad, every time we have an injury or suspension problem we get players in from other clubs or bring back players who are not match fit (all at a price I am sure) rather than bring in anyone from the Res or those patiently waiting via the subs bench, how must Hounsell, Bartlett and Tosack to name but a few, feel? What price loyalty!! Yet when they leave as I am sure they will, we have a pop at them. Have we got this right? any views

JJ You make a very good point which is good to see, i you didnt point this out someone else sure would have! Having a reserve team option is a very good asset which is key to backing up the first team. The reserves have alot of players as well who are training and playing hard to try and earn their place either on the bench or in the line-up of the first team. They have been the receivers of some heavy critics which have been very harsh, which i believe to be wrong. They are some very talented young guns within the reserves who are waiting for that chance to shine. So instead of disrupting the club with here and there signings i think the reserve players should be given a lifeline to show the true potential they bear within themselves.

OK - good points but not sure they fit in with the Alton game. With Spalding and Cherrett out then we needed two in at the back. Ian Richardson has played for us this season and looked a good player (as he did on Saturday). Cornick was Supporters Club Player of the Year two years ago and was probably the best player we had at the time. As far as I know he has started getting his fitness back by playing for the reserves (which is another great use of the reserve side). In a game that I guess we didn't expect to be tested too much at the back then it was a perfect match to bring Boris back into the first team. And again - I felt he played solid and warrented his place and it was great to see him back. Up front, Chivers was injured (good to see him supporting from the stand) so seems a logical choice that Glennie would partner Phillips rather than anyone else. And he scored a cracker! Surely you pick a side to win a game. We won and kept a clean sheet. No complaints from me. All just my opinion though Cheers, Steve

I dont understand what the problem is! The team are playing very well, and are on an ubeaten run, they easily won 3-0 on Saturday, and yet some people are still not happy!
Surely what most happen is that you select the best team available to you, TK has shown before that he is not afraid to put people in the team if and when are they are good enough and ready, and Carl and Ali have had long runs in the team recently.
Stop moaning, enjoy the football, and SUPPORT the team, and the 11 players on the pitch whoever that may be.

It's great to have Boris back.To lose so influential a player as Spalds for 56 days is immense--3 semi-final games apart from anything else.Bennett at Andover is a lethal striker they have scored 50 goals in 12 home games-hardly surprising Tom is looking to pull in an experienced replacement-there are loads of games coming up-everyone will get their chance I am quite sure
