Because I'm friendly with people from corfe mullen doe's not mean, I'm going there.
I have helped them out with players and we play pre-season friendlies.
SPINELESS ANON why don't you use your real name.
No i have done nothing for the club, maybe you would like to take over Spineless.

I dont normally respond to contentious postings for obvious reasons but I cannot let this one go.Kevin Jackson is a valued part of the PTFC set up.We are aricher club for his being with us.He does a very difficult job very well and even if Carl was the only benefit - what a benefit!! Take it from me KJ is a great asset to the club

Well said Chris, Ive lost count of the amount of times I have had to come on here and defend KJ against stupid comments. Seems there are 1 or 2 people who have something against him.
Doubt they could do any better or are willing to help out!

In response to Anon, that Carl is the only youngster to bring any benifit to PTFC, whilst I agree he is doing well since getting a decent run, I doubt the likes of Paul bayston dave sturgess John Byrom etc etc will see the point of staying at PTFC if that is TKs and other supporters view's which I am sure it is'nt, remember Ali Harris spent a lot of time in the Res last year, was given a chance and took it this season as I am sure the youngsters will in time, maybe not this season but in time but slating KJ is only harming the club at least he is trying to do something for the benifit of PTFC what are you doing ANON? The youngsters read this website they don't need to be slagged off they need encouagement, afterall they just want to play footgall at the best level they can.

Reports speculate that they will try to encourage the poole town res manager to come and take up the position. I think KJ will stay at poole town he has established a very good setup and deserves praise.
Another thing is the talk of the reserves being put into another league. Which could cause a different approach to this situation by KJ. But as long as the young players are playing at a high level of football which would help them improve, that is what KJs interests are. Giving these youngsters a chance to show they are certain potential for the future!

It seems your reserve manager skills at producing youngsters have fallen flat as on eof his key talents is now a boro player. Surely if your club want to brag about producing younsters you must surely be able to keep hold of them othewise whats the point.
Good Debut Bayston! We'll be having Sturgess & Snell next!

Dont be so immature and come on here trying to stir up an argument, rather than be annoyed or embarassed that Paul has moved on to Boro, I am quite proud that Borough are looking at our reserve team for new players,it shows that many of them are capable of playing at a higher level. I dont balme Paul for trying to play at the highest level possible, and wish him all the best.
Should he one day be ready for wessex league football then I hope we will see him back at Poole town.

As K.J. will clarify, you can sign Dorset & Wessex forms so therefore Paul can play for the dorset side while still being on call for TK. Danny played for Cobham while coming back to fitness!

Dont know who the "boro 6" is but obviously out to stir and should grow up!
good to see any player going to higher league teams. In the past we have had players do the same.
at the end of the day it can only be good for player and club

I don't normally reply to most comments on this web-site but I feel I just need to clarify some of the comments being made ref Paul Bayston. He is on only loan at Boro, after a chat with TK it was felt his chances of starting for PTFC were limited and with the Res games few and far between (indeed no game for 3 weeks), both decided this was a move that would benifit all (incl Shaun Brooks), under the clear understanding as the fixtures come thick and fast from March onwards he could call him back if needed. Paul is greatfull for the opportunity to play some football, and if required by TK will be back in a PTFC shirt. He has only signed on DPL forms, and can not play for Boro Res in our league so there is no conflict of interest. All players want to play at the highest level they can. No one pinched anyone!!!

As rob has said paul is on loan at Borough, he needs to play a higher standard and regular football as part of TK squad, as do most of reserves, this is currently being reviewed for next season.

This is the first time I have been on this site in a while... And Im a bit suprised about the amount of stick KJ is getting. I played for the reserves last season and although we had our disagreements Kev's still a decent bloke and I think he gets some unfair criticism. Its a hard job being a reserve team manager at any club let alone the biggest in the area where the expectations are so high.
People need to remember that the team is very young.. I was the oldest player for nearly the whole season last year and Im 24.. And I believe the teams even younger this season.
The DSL isnt a great a league to play in and to be honest even though most of the players in the reserves are technically very good its going to be hard for them. In the DSL your up against a lot of over physical sides, terrible pitches and awful refs which give you little or no protection. Which like it or not is going to be slightly intimidating when your 16.. But to be fair majority of the lads especially Snelly, Sturge, Jonny B got on with it and know doubt will go on to be top players locally..
What ever you think about the reserves, right now they're serving they're purpose even just being there and giving these players a chance. Means they're at our club and at Toms disposal.
So maybe its any idea to just get behind Kevin & Martin like we do Tom & Taffy. And if you have any negative comments express them in the right way..

We have enjoyed four good games over the last two seasons with your reserves, and whilst i appreciate that the league doesn;t liar they are a better team than the results show. As for KJ you can see how much it means to him as kicks every ball from the sideline just as our manager does, that tells me he cares and that he wants to win. Back him for christ sake nobody deserves to be slated for something they do for nothing!!
