A very entertaining game at Christchurch tonight saw our youth side go out to Cristchurch 2-1 a great pity but they are playing sides a year older this year so were defiantly not disgraced 2-0 down just after ht they pulled one back quickly and despite the odd breakaway by Christchurch it was all Poole but they couldn't find that elusive equaliser, next up the top of the table clash against Forrest Green Saturday at Tatnam 10:30 ko, well worth turning up to watch these talented future players.

Their goalie brought off some stonking saves to keep us at bay. Well done boys for keeping at it but it just wasn't gonna be your night.

unlucky lads. We knew it would be tough, but sounds like you gave it your all and that's all we can ask. Next up Forest Green for top of league table encounter. Saw a thread from Mark about making it a full football day of it Saturday, with Youth at Tatnam 10:30 KO and then across the bridge for another FA Cup encounter.

Well I suppose all things must come to an end but although the boys put in another tremendous shift the feeling in the dressing room after the game was if only! The boys let Christchrch play around them for large portions of the first half but apart from a couple of corners and a free kick that skimmed the bar I can't remember Pat in the Poole goal having to make a save,in fact the two better chances fell to Turner and Buck only to be thwarted by a fine save by the Christchurch keeper and a rather tame attempt a a lob that ended up in the keepers arms. After the break two quick goals were conceded due to defensive mistakes, the boys however responded magnificently ,driven on by the Skipper Josh Hanratty,a fine run and cross from the right by Morgan Turner was met by Josh Buck who finished with a low shot into the corner of the net. After that it was all Poole apart from a few forays upfield by our opponents, with Christchurch holding onto their lead thanks to more great work from the Christchurch keeper. Final score 2-1 So we move onto Saturday morning 10.30am kick off in a top of the table clash with Forest Green Rovers, and with the first team on playing over the bridge at Hamworthy in the FA Cup why not make it a double header,I'm sure the boys will welcome all the support you can give them for this game.
