Went to watch the reserves yesterday, but luck was not on their side as they suffered a 1-0 defeat.
In the 1st half it was a bit sloppy and we kept giving the ball away a little too much, and Barwick took the lead early on in the match after a cross into the box was not cleared. Despite this, Poole had chances to equalise but the Barwick keeper had an excellent match and made some very good saves to deny us a goal.
The 2nd half was a different story as Poole virtually dominated without finding the back of the net, the Barwick keeper once again pulled off some great saves. They were also not helped in their cause by the referee who sent off a total of 3 players, 2 from Poole Town.
Although not the greatest of performances by the Poole youngsters they kept plugging away and did enough to win the match but for finishing their chances. They look a little short of confidence at the moment, but keep it going lads Im sure once you get a win, the results will come.
Keep up the good work KJ and Martin.

Hi Buck,
Quite a few players that Ive not seen play before including the 2 forwards Chris and Callum who I guess are 2 of the new signings that KJ spoke about on another thread, I,ll let you know some of the players that were playing and maybe KJ can fill in the rest,
Lee Mitchener
?? Chris Bailey Ian Thornton
Sam Dobbs Scott Hancox ?? Darren Reeks Chris Snell
Callum Chris
Subs
Paul Nisbett Mark Thomas
Quite a lot of players missing for the reserves at the moment which is also not helping KJ and Martin.
Also would be nice to see more there, so if you are not watching the 1st team then do come along and support the youngsters, they play good football.

Thanks Dolphin for your constructive remarks, you report on the game was spot on, you reported it exactly as martin and myself saw the game.
Barwick are down at the bottom of the table and are fighting to get out of that position, their keeper was outstanding as dolphin reported he saved everything we shot at him, martin and i were very frustrated and need our players to roll their sleeves up, no griping but we had about 8 changes from last week, thats reserve footbball...we will turn it round now that we have two good lads up front. It will take a little time to gel and I'm confident they will notch soon.
KJ
2 Sendings off, well the way i saw it a bit harsh, as reeko was felled from behind and was seriously injured and had to be helped off, strangely the ref gave the free kick to Barwick, even their players were amazed as the defender apologized to the ref about the tackle that warranted a yellow card. words were exchanged between Darren and the referee who produced a red card as he left the pitch.
10 minutes later handbags at dawn saw two players square up to each other the referee saw fit to send both players off.
The game was not at all a dirty game, there was not much physical stuff going on. In the end we lost to what i thought was a good performance buy a quality keeper.
