that is a prob for tommy then as thats why he is the manager to make difficult decisions. BUT in my opinion no because yo never change a winni8ng team as it could be a positive idea and the likely solution but easily can become a negative outcome.

Bartlett should come back into the team without question - he has performed superbly this season and is already one of Poole's best players. However Jason Mountford did look good on Saturday. It was also good to see Lee Manning back near his best. We do need something extra up front, but its not Chivers yet.

If not chivers then who else can give something different? No defender likes pace and as far as I can see chivers is the quickest poole have

According to Poole Town Club Call line, Tommy has signed up Richard Glenister with immediate effect. I understand he may well be on the bench tonight.
Supporters will remember Glenister from 2000/01 season when he notched 27 goals in 26 appearances. In my opinion he is exactly the sort of striker we need at the moment - an out an out goalscorer.
Ideally I would have Glenister and Turner up front for Poole. Chivers I would have on bench and probably give Warrington a run in the reserves as he needs to find his scoring touch / confidence...............
Cheers,
Steve

I think Richard Glenister had taken a break from Saturday football, so I think this is just a "signing" rather than a "transfer".
Not sure who he last played for - I think he left us for Lymington & New Milton??
Anyway, it's good to have him back.

Score was Poole Town 4 - 0 Andover New Street
Excellent performance by Poole. In fact I have done the match report but won't be able to put it on website until tonight when I get home. Here is a copy of it below............
Tommy Killick was able to field a strong side for the visit of lowly Andover New Street to Tatnam. Gary Funnell returned from suspension, Leigh Cornick from injury and both Bartlett and Chivers returned from County duty at the weekend. New signing Richard Glenister (27 goals for Poole in 2000/01) started on the bench.
This was a particularly one-side match as Poole produced excellent flowing football which resulted in almost total possession from the first whistle to the last. The whole team contributed to the result and the slick passing and movement was really enjoyed by the healthy Poole support.
On 4 minutes Gary Funnell produced the first of many crosses on the night and as the ball swung in from the left Cornick was free in the box but could only hook the ball over from close range. Two minutes later and Funnell fed Lee Manning and after cutting in from the left his shot flew just wide of the left hand post. Three minutes more and it was the same result for Manning, this time having been played in by a great ball from Aaron Turner.
The breakthrough came on 22 minutes. Funnell raced clear and as the keeper came out his attempted lob was not quite high enough but after the keeper had parried the ball away Carl Chivers was on hand to knock the ball into an empty net. Chivers continued to cause problems for New Street and he had two more chances shortly after which were both deflected for corners. On 31 minutes Taffy Richardson met another corner with a firm header but again the ball went just over the bar.
Poole continued to play patient football and the second goal was always going to be a matter of time. On 40 minutes some great passing eventually saw Funnell slide the ball to Bartlett and his first time shot went wide of the right hand post. On the stroke of half time Poole doubled their lead. Good work down the left saw a cross met by Turner but his touch came back off the underside of the bar and yet again Chivers was on hand to tap in his second of the game. Half time: 2-0.
The second half followed the same pattern as the first as Poole dominated possession and created chance after chance. On 57 minutes it looked as though Chivers would secure his hat-trick but as he raced clear his volley beat the keeper but landed just wide of the post. As the game wore on Sturgess and Glenister replaced White and Chivers and still Poole pressed for more goals. On 81 minutes a high ball was brought down well by Funnell and in acres of space he beat the keeper and fired past the last defender on the line to score his 20th of the season.
In the final minute Poole wrapped up a great win when Turner burst through the defence and fired low to the keeper's left.
Poole: Scriven, Spalding, Mountford, Cornick (Welsh), Bartlett, Funnell, White (Sturgess), Richardson, L. Manning, Chivers (Glenister), Turner
