just read the match report from the game on pitchside and it doesnt mention Paul bayston at all. i feel that Paul overall had a very good game, maybe better than David Sturgess. David played well but after scoring a goal (which very much looked like and own goal), he started to play the difficult ball all the time and it didnt come off. When Paul came on not at his favoured position as i understand, he played simple passes which looked good passes. Although he didnt score, he set Boris up for his tap in and had a few chances himself. He never gave up on anything. You see more of the ball in centre midfield, not wide on the left, maybe thats why David got mentioned more than Paul.
Any other views that are valid, not stupid ones though!
Overall though a very good win and Locks Heath are in sight!!! UP THE DOLPHINS!!!!!!

I also watched the game on Sat I agree Paul Bayston and Dave Sturgess played well, But doubt if they care who played better or got a mention on pitchside website, in my opion they are just two very talented lads enjoying thier chance in the 1st team, with a steady stream of youngsters coming through from the reserves, Carl Chivers Rob Webb, Chris Snell, Jonny Byrom, sam Dobbs to name but a few, if they are looked after properly and not rushed or worry wether or not they are mentioned in write-ups on websites or the papers etc the Dolphins can go from strength to strength, I thought the older players supported both paul and dave very well on Sat, if the current team form is maintained promotion can become a reality this season, really looking forward to Tues game at Wimborne.

The Aldermaston manager took the trouble on his way out of the dressing rooms to stop by the board room and describe Poole's performance as "awesome". That will do for me, and I don't see a need to single anyone out or rank any one player as better than another.

Interesting that your censor seems keen to strike out my comment about your clubs ability to offer to comfort of a boardroom to the select few while over a number of seasons you have failed to provide a modicum of cover to your ‘loyal’ supporters and visitors alike.
Maybe the censor also enjoys the privilege of the inner sanctum. With that in mind, I guess he will not retain this posting for long.

To 'Observer'
Firstly it is quite obvious that you know very little about the set-up down at Tatnam these days.
The 'boardroom', such as it is, is contained within the same small building as the dressing rooms and the Directors have gone out of their way to invite any supporters there at half time or after the match for drinks. Whether supporters want to or not is up to them and whether I do or not is just none of your business.
With regard to the provision of a stand for our supporters, again you quite clearly haven't a clue as to the work that is going on to provide just that (and has been going on since we successfully managed to get floodlights installed at the ground).
The 'loyal' supporters as you call them are well aware of the club's ambitions to provide a stand plus other facilities to enable the Club to gain promotion to Wessex 1, and a modicum (to use your word) of investigation or knowledge on your part would have allowed you to make a better informed, and quite frankly, less ridiculous statement in the first place.
I don't mind people coming on the messageboard and being critical of the Club / team /management - there are plenty of other postings which do that. However at the end of the day it is my website (not connected with the club in any way) and if people want to be abusive / write stupid coments, then I suggest they set up their own website and then they can do what they want.................
Regards,
Steve

Although you don't feel that any player should be praised above the others in this game, I do feel that the Aldermaston goalie should be mentioned. He had a blinder, and if it wasn't for him, it would probably have ended up a cricket score.

To "Observer"
Clearly you have little or no awareness of the issues in getting cover put up at Tatnam, or the requirements of the League to entertain visiting officials (which is why we have set aside a very small area, not so the select few lord it over supporters of either team).
If you have the courage to break from the "cover" of pseudonymous postings on the message board, and want to discuss this with a board-member of Poole Town FC, turn up to our next Home fixture and ask for me.
PS Not our occasional HUFC-supporting "sniper" (Tony something??) are you by any chance? If so, your credibility's long blown, and I'm not sure why I dignified your sarcastic whinge with a reply.
