:o281 Guests steve, just wondering wether it's time to stop non-members viewing the board. Get em to sign up if they are that interested Oh and maybe disable the invisible user option. Just a thought

I think stfc may have a point here The forum as played it's part in raising awareness of the Dolphins. Subsequently introducing new people to the wonders of Poole Town. We must keep it moving forward and encouraging new members is an excellent idea

Not sure if hiding the forum to those only willing to sign up is the answer. Some people who have No interest in Poole Town will have no motivation to sign up but might be motivated once they have read the forum and the enthusiasm it exudes. Which is probably why it is so succesful in the first place. Steve has done a brilliant job with the site and of course everyone that contributes should take some credit for the success it is showing. It's likely to be one of the reasons why the attendances are climbing. Average home att must be over 200 now, Is it possible to reach 300 by the end of the season ?

Just a thought Think the Forum should be open to as many people as possible, it was one of the reasons i got involved. The more that see us and get to know about us the better. Do see your point though.

I totally agree with M3. I think the site should be left open. It is a credit to Steve and all that use the site. It is obvious to me that we have accurate and up to date information and that a lot of people tap into this. They may not be supporters of PTFC but are now aware of what a great site this is and are using it. As for invisble users, I would probably hide the fact that I was a Wimborne town supporter.

I suspect we got a few extra paying punters at the Hamble game yesterday because supporters of other clubs and groundhoppers were able to see on the forum that the game was on after the first inspection. I wouldn't be prepared to register on another club's forum just to try and find that out, so I'm happy with the status quo.

I am happy with 'Status quo' I did see them on the 23rd December at the BIC! Oh back to topic! we certainly must have an interest/following and Perhaps have some of the forum could be password locked but for general information (ie) game info: have it readily available.

I think a lot of us share your suspicion of people who hide themselves stfc so I don't think it's just you.
However, I also agree that the status quo is best for now.
