;DOffice 2000 might very well be too old for Vista, I'm running 2007 on my Vista pc Before you go diving into PC World check out the prices here, chances are you will get something with a better spec for a better price and maybe have the option to have XP installed www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/AdvSearch/default.aspx?rewrite=xp_laptopsWhat's the spec of the Dell, the processor and memory are of major importance? Can you send me a link to the model on their site? It could be this one? tinyurl.com/9hxqftNah I can't find you anything with a better spec at a cheaper price Don't let em flog you that Norton either. AVG Free will be fine Ask em about the manufacturers standard warranty-length, as they will try to flog you extra insurance which can work out pretty costly, up to you wether you think it's worth it Any probs gimme a shout

Yes thats the one st.
They are trying to flog me a windows word and excel program that will run on vista for £50. Since I only use word and excel this may be a good deal? If I have the Dell and this windows program it will cost £450. Is this a good deal st?

No pm's received... Slepe, i agree with the advice. Don't get Norton, AVG is good. Especially if you're with Sky, Virgin or BT.
