My 14 year old son who's into other things 14 year olds are into, like, army cadets, guitars, music, girls, rugby etc muttered the imortal words, Dad can I come to football with you one day I've never pushed him into anything so it was good to hear him offer to come along. Hopefully I can bring him along to a game soon, possibly the Alton away game. ;D

Well done m3! He must be getting the idea that he's missing something. Or eveytime he comes out in the car with me we batter the speakers with Hendrix, Floyd etc and he loves it So if anyone spots a couple of head bangers in the car park at future games, you'll know who it is ;D

well I managed to hook my kids after taking them to the laverstock game. They now moan as I won't take them to another. My eldest boy is thinking about signing up on here so he can still take part, but as he is only 12 I have said NO.

My 3 1/2 year old really wants to come to Tatnam. As we have to drive past the hallowed ground to go anywhere, it's getting tough for excuses. At the moment, i've told her she can come when she's five, but we'll see.

My son loved his first game and even in the first half with no goals in our favour he remarked on the attacking football being played by Poole.

So hopefully he'll come again then? Just hope he's not put off by the performances of his local team up there! Will we have to start up a Junior Supporters Club now, just a thought.
