Hi guys... I am the manager of Poole Quay FC a new club in Poole, and am wondering if anyone is interested in playing for the club next term. Check out www.poole-quay.co.uk for more details on how to register your interest. Thanks again and look forward to speaking to you soon Craig

More importantly, what was the score tonight???

You're not the only one - particularly like the idea that they are going to have a stadium at Baiter, join the Wessex League, and enter the FA Cup, FA Vase and the FA Trophy next season. Perhaps it is just a very detailed joke, but I'm not sure who it's aimed at.
Still, I'll do my utmost to make their friendly at Wimborne.
Anyway, perhaps we should sign their physio in a swap deal? (Sorry, Dick!)

Stadium at Baiter?!, well they would keep all the dead 'Plague' bodies company that are buried there! was this website set up on April 1st per chance? Just remember there is only one team in Poole!

Maybe some things on there are a little optimistic to say the least... but if you havent got optimism... you havent got anything. We know that some things on there arent possible... but a start in Saturday Division 4 isnt bad if we get a group of players capable of competing for promotion. I had optimism when at Tilehurst Terriers and its got us far... so why not be optimistic with Poole Quay.
Baiter may not be the best choice... we have been advised this now... and maybe a good idea to progress the club quickly is to ground share with another club whom are in the Wessex League

Just remember there is only one team in Poole! Our aim isnt to be the new Poole Town... hopefully by the time Poole Quay get into the Wessex Premier... Poole Town will be well on there way to the higher reaches of non-league football. We have maximum respect and realise that Poole Town is the No.1 club here... we arent trying to be something we're not. We want to just work our way up the leagues... and hopefully one day; a dream at present will become a reality. A friendly for our first game with our big neighbours as our first game would be a huge boost though

I'm baffled, with 3 teams already in Poole why not put your energy into supporting and helping push PTFC instead ?

Hey has any one heard of Lee Russell or Danny Clark or Matt Swain ? These seem to be the new players for this club, but they could be made up people. Just out of interest, Does this guy craig, really think any of our players will play for them when they are not in our league? or going to be even close to playing in our league? it's also a bit of an insult to come on to our forum and put a posting like that . Not that I am taking it seriously. I think I will speak to the players during training and get their opinion. I expect they will just laugh at me , or think I have gone mad for even considering it ;D. mind you I think they think I'm mad anyway.

Lee Russell did play for us in the Southern League, so I suspect the players registering their interest on the forum are genuine.

Our intention isnt to upset anyone... we are just a new team hoping for big things. In no way a spoof
On the verdict of Lee Russell, what was he like at Poole Town?

I think this thread should be in "Off Topic".
It doesn't relate to Poole Town FC.

I think this thread should be in "Off Topic". It doesn't relate to Poole Town FC. Seconded, we've got more important things to think about in the next week. Even us supporters need to be focused for the next two games. Slepe, pleased to meet you again last night and I don't think I mentioned about the 6 foot by 12 flag that should be ready for next Tuesday. Irony is it's being made in Lancashire only miles from Morecombe ;D ;D

Maybe we can have a chat My son came with me on Tuesday night, he can't come on Saturday due to work. Now my foot seems to be OK I can stand a little longer, without needing to sit down.

Hi all just thought I would put my five eggs worth in about Poole Quay FC. Steve should have all postings relating to this load of S**T removed immediately as it has nothing to do with what this forum is about, ie Poole Town FC. What would we do if supporters of say Poole Borough came on here and started peddling this load of crap? Yes you got it TAKE IT OFF! If this crowd want to get players, boast about things that will never happen and generally annoy us let them get their own web site with their own forum and post away to their hearts content. But not on our forum. Anybody outhere agree? and whilst i'm on a rant the clown who went on the prediction league (Poole scumbags) should also be removed do we not realise this joker is a sad, no VERY sad Wimborne fan taking what he thinks is the P**S.

Guys... we're not here to upset people, we are here to drum up support for people who may be interested in joining a football team. No crime in that really, is there??? I'm a relative new supporter here, but what you need to realise is a lot of these guys and girls on here have seen their club go through some very very hard times in the past few years. Even now people are working very hard behind the scenes trying to secure a future for the club, from the tea ladies up to the directors and all the grafters in between. You need to see how hard they work, unpacking and packing away the ground on match days. Also the Branksome Rec situation is precariously balanced which could have an eventual effect on how the club progress, last thing they need is another club, spoof or not, clouding the issues on their own supporters forum. Steve will ultimately have the final decision on this thread, but in my view wether you meant it or not, you have already irritated some of the supporters on here so maybe it would be wise of you to take the hint and drum up your support in another way other than Poole Town FC supporters forum.

well said M3, i think if Poole Quay is sensible he will just go and play on his own web site, oh I forgot he has no supporters. Oh well better luck next time. I suggest if you want players then you try looking else where.

Well said m3 and cookiemonster. Poolequay, why not go on the wimborne/hamworthy/poppies sites? A lot of Poole people are giving up a lot in a lot of ways for the Dolphins. Suggest you carry on playing fantasy football or whatever computer game

It's a good spoof and good fun. An impressive web site too. I notice that 'The Seagulls' also have a dolphin in their badge and what looks like a bird's nest on a stick. I wonder what 'The Hornets' make of it.

It is 'off topic' really isn't it? I think the 'manager' of Poole Quay FC is thinking of joining the 'Hornets'. Am I right?
