This will be the area that will need careful consideration Depending on the formation that Tommy wants: 4-4-2, 4-5-1 or 4-1-4-1. Who do we think will be ever present??

slepe12. A very good question. Mickey Hubbard has looked very impressive since his arrival and Gary Funnell looks back to his best. Slot in Taff who appears revitalised since his wedding. Bailey-Pearce on the left and Trev on the right. Christ what a line up. Poor old Tommy. What a dilema who to play. Good for the team though. I think we can look forward to a lucrative season.

It is going to be difficult to choose. Sturge had a good game last night at Blandford as did Taff. They were the only ones of the above playing. I will still go with a midfield 4 of Trevor -Taff - Hubbard - Bailey-Pearce. With Sturge, Funnell ( if he's signed ) Culli ( if he's signed ) Danny Taylor and Gilly as back ups what a selection. Is it possible for someone to publish who has actually signed this season as I'm sure everyone wants to know.

signings are happening each time we get together just a couple to go lastnight's result-4-1 win v Blandford Steve Smith 2, Leigh Phillips 2--Ashley Ayley nearly split the cross-bar with one 20 yarder

Chris, is it correct that Stu Gates has gone to the Bristol Academy, Al Jordan has been stationed at Catterick & that Mr Funnell has joined Bashley ?

stuart has unexpectedly taken up a college place alan has out of the blue had an unexpected posting which he is trying to get changed gary has played for bashley pre season I have no idea if he has signed we feel we have a great squad of players that is not unduly diluted by these developments good as these players are we have some great talent to compensate fawzi and cully have signed for gosport-we simply couldn't guarantee a first team place on a regular basis with so many talented players deserving of consideration

Shame to see Cully go, he always had time for banter and a laugh with the supporters. All the best to him.

Yeh, m3 I liked Cully also I have to say he would struggle to command a regular place in the team at the moment. I don't expect the Gosport management are able to guarantee a regular place either. They are in a higher league, aren't they? One would assume they are attracting a better standard player So why leave??

Cully will be missed. Genuine class above Wessex league level and he was the best header of the ball in the team

Am I the only one struggling to keep up with who has joined & who has left?
Will we have a definitive list of known players by next Saturday?
I have unfortunatley managed to attend only a limited amount of the friendlies but from what I have seen and what has been posted by others I am really encouraged.
Really looking to the first real match in 8 days time.

Yes it is confusing, some of the best players in the pre-season matches seem already now departed to other clubs.
I am not sure who the "Squad" is. It certainly would be helpful to know those players who are signed on.
