Lost 3-0 but not disgraced. Great crowd of 1043. Good advert for the club.
On behalf of all the directors of PTFC thanks to all those loyal supporters who assisted be it stewarding, sweety stalls, pro grammes, raffle, bar or food stall. Without you we couldn't of done it.
I spoke personally to Kevin Bond who was very impressed with the way the game was arranged and was pleasantly surprised by the standard of play from Poole Town.
A good night all round
Hope to see you all Tuesday when we play Bashley (19.45 ko)
On behalf of all the directors of PTFC Thanks for your continued loyal support to Poole Town FC

Rob,i'm not gonna let this pass without a thank you to you. With no Chris Reeves or Steve Harvey, you were dropped in at the deep end, & although the ciggies took a bit of a caning, you ran things very smoothly ! Once again, on behalf of the stewards & everyone else involved , thank you !!!!!!! UP THE TOWN

Parky Thanks for the nice words, they are appreciated but I can assure you although maybe not there in person both Chris and in particular Steve Harvey were equally supportive, in fact Steve didn't leave the ground till 1800hrs just in time to stop his Divorce going through!!! In addition Kim and Geoff worked tirelessly behind the scenes, it really was an all round team effort.

Hi All, Thought you might be interested in the following (particularly those who could not make the Bournemouth game). Just spoke with an avid Bournemouth follower, who knows his stuff – so I guess a valid view from “the other side”. He was at the game on Friday night, and thought the lads looked in many ways the better side in the first half - giving Bournemouth plenty to think about. He was impressed with our ball retention, passing and the willingness to be patient and probe for the right opening. However, he was disappointed we did not work the keeper enough, and seemed a little lacking up top - a shame in light of our approach play. We both agreed that 0-3 was harsh on our lads ,but somewhat inevitable if “it keeps coming back”. I was also at the game, and tend to agree with my colleagues summing up. Hopefully the side is gradually coming together and bedding in, but there still work to do. Personally, I’m sure all will be addressed and here’s to a strong season – looking forward to it !

[/b] I will be expecting a more positive approach on Tuesday. I want to see what we can do going forward, ball retention is great and everyone seems comfortable. Lets see the creative players putting that final pass into striking areas.
