m3............were all these players on view last night?
Simon Browne did play for Poole last night. Also playing for Poole were Matt Holmes and last season's SCFC reserve team top scorer Stuart Gates, as well as two more former Whites, Leigh Phillps and Stuart Brown.

Hi Chaps,
Simon Browne played left hand side defence for 1st half.
Matt Holmes was brought in last season after we lost Chris Smith in the middle of the park, and played a part on Wednesday.
Gates up front 1st half (made one appearance last year in the infamous Portland semi final).
Leo Phillips – up front 2nd half (Leo left the club last year for Poppies, and has now returned).
Browner (Stuart) (Striker) has re-signed from last year, and played in defence for 2nd half on Wednesday.
Hope this helps .
Cheers.

Only managed to get down to watch the last 40 minutes.
My view was fairly similar to the Dorchester match - fairly solid in defence and trying to pass the ball around. Still slightly concerned up front although made more chances than agaist Dorchester. Again gave away a penalty from a clumsy challenge - need to learn from this. However sub goalkeeper made a great save.
Back in the team from last season were Gilly, Culli & Browners who all put in good performances.
So Salisbury deserved to win but given gap in leagues another promising performance from Poole.
I am not going to make the next 3 friendlies so please can someone post a report and I will read on my return - thanks.
