Idea for some more funds; were all the Poole shirts auctioned ? If not would it be an idea to raffle a Poole shirt before the Bournemouth game. Site a table on the tarmac by the turnstile and sell raffle tickets at a quid a go then announce the winner at half time. Maybe ask AFCB if they can donate a shirt too and raffle that. I know Chris is away but if anyone from the club reads this and would like me to assist, PM me and I would be willing to come down earlier and help with the raffle.

M3dolphin, great idea perhaps you could get together with the supports club and arrange a stall. Due to the shortage of helpers on Friday you would need to make all the arrangements yourself, due to prior arrangements I'm not available Friday but if you need speak to me I'll be there on Wednesday or reply on site I'll help all i can. Thanks for the reply Steve. Not a problem, I am willing to care of it myself or with help from the supporters club. All I need is a spare shirt if the club has one left over and a table, I can organise the rest if you so wish. Do you have a contact number for someone at the club ? Thanks.

Having someone on the gate asking people to sign a petition is surely a must. Could get several hundred signatories hopefully.
Really think this needs to be done

Update; After talking with Poole Town Director, Steve Harvey, there will be a table at the Poole v AFCB game With two seperate raffles. One for a Poole Town shirt that Rico wore last season, kindly donated by Steve Harvey. This shirt will come with a photograph. The second raffle will be for an AFCB shirt. Also on the table will be petition sheets for the Branksome Rec proposal, for those wishing to pledge their support to the scheme. Many thanks.

The AFCB shirt was won by a Bournemouth Supporter and the Poole Town Shirt won by a Poole Supporter who promptly donated the shirt back to the club. The raffle raised £120 for the club and I would like to thank all those who took part in or backed the idea. Many Thanks.
