Nothing like being tested straight from the 'off' ;D My impression of Fareham was they were a well organised side last season and victory against them would be a good boost for our lads. Lovely trip to Alton, in the sunshine again I hope, with memories of Browners volleyed goal still fresh in our minds. Can't wait!!

Fareham have lost a manager and secretary over the summer, but seem to have retained most of their side . Their keeper, Lee Webber, (a top bloke who always seemed to enjoy a bit of a friendly chat / banter with our regular "behind the goal" supporters) has joined VT FC. upthecreek.myfreeforum.org/index.php?component=indexpageI'm not looking forward to a trip to Alton on 30 August - nothing against Alton (always great hosts) but if that game is on it will mean we'd have lost against Welton Rovers in the cup two weeks earlier (and that Alton had lost at Cowes Sports too).

I didn't know about the date, Doug. In that case lets have a lucrative Cup run and enjoy the Alton game at a later date.
