I may be in a minority but having left the area in the 80s I still associate the club with yellow and blue. Sadly when I left the area their fortunes gradually went west too...

Very true DollyFinn. A lot of us will remember the Blue & Yellow strip but when I first began watching Poole Town in the 50s it was Red & White stripes. If you read Robert Powell's book 'A History of Poole Town FC 1890 - 2005' (enquire at the club or Steve Bean) you will find that the club has had a number of different colours over the years. What I don't know is why the changes! Come back DollyFinn! Maybe that is what the Dolphins need.

Don't get me wrong slepe12, I like the red & white halves. I think it's the best PTFC strip ever! I was only delving into history for DollyFinn's benefit.
