After a slow start where Poole trailed 1-0, Browner had a purple patch ten minutes before half-time making one goal with a cross, that was headed in by Steve Smith, and smashing a 30 yarder, which is contender for goal of the season, high into the top corner. The Dolphins added a further three goals in the second half to cap a good performance to the end of the season. An excellent game bathed in sunshine with a good representaion of Dolphins fans, in what could have been a dour end of season affair. Good to see Ashley Ayley nearly get on the score sheet with a fine powerful drive that the keeper could only parry for a corner.

You're welcome chaps, sorry it wasn't a more in depth report I had to rush out to work. The lads and management really took the game to its limits, it was hard to imagine it was an end of season game. I thought Shane Ayres put in a really good performance from start to finish and was my man of the match. I've really enjoyed watching the Dolphins this season and am impressed by the amount of supporters that travel to away games, even yesterday many made the trip to North Hampshire. Well Done everyone!! I'm already looking forward to next season
