;)I firmly believe, in Tommy Killick we have the best Manager in the league. It's this belief, and his passion for the game, leads me to think that Downton will not be looking forward to Saturday. Unless I'm very mistaken there will be a number of players and coaching staff keen to erase the mid week debacle. What better way than on the pitch.........go for it boys!!

I came along as a neutral to the New Milton home game and this Saturday will be my 17th game I will have been too. Yea I know it's nowhere near as much as the many hundreds and maybe thousands of Poole games some of you guys have watched but already I am finding myself becoming hooked on watching Tommy's Poole Team. I like the way he encourages the youngsters to go forward, his substitutions, his tactics and the way he gets stuck into them if they don't pull their weight. I also like his honesty and the way he kept the supporters in touch, through the programme, with whats going on behind the scenes with all the player's comings and goings. He is also not afraid to take responsibility when things go wrong, hence his comments about his own naivety versus Bemerton away. This season I've watched games at most levels in non league football, from the Blue Square South to Wessex Div 1 which includes teams going well like Eastbourne, Fisher, Newport County, Hampton & Richmond, Bromley and Tadley Calleva and would say Tommy Killick rates amongst the best managers I've seen in non league so far, and one of the reasons why I enjoy watching Poole Town play. Tuesday was most probably down to a bad day at the office for all involved and could be the 'reality check' we needed for the final assault on the title, lets hope the lads respond well to it. Looking forward to Downton.

Looking forward to Downton. Well said. Couldn't agree more. It sounds as if your "neutral" status has been put to one side. Let's hope theres a "happy" ending to this season.
