Regular readers of the message board will recall that I e-mailed the Mayor of Poole and then wrote to him and to all the other 41 Poole Town councillors on 10th January asking for their help and support.
To date (27th February) I have had two replies. One from Councillor Tony Woodcock and the second from Councillor Mrs Carol Evans.
Both were very positive and their letters led me to believe that the Poole Town Council may actually have the best interests of the football club at heart after all.
We shall see!

I don't know why Councillor Woodcock's name comes up as "thingy". Is there a built-in anti porn device? If so I don't think it needs to be quite so rigorous as that.

Good work Brian, the fact they replied and acknowledged you is very promising.

Reference to Brians post I to e-mailed the Mayor direct on 10/01/08 his reply is copied below.
Thank you for your email. I am unable to comment as I am a Member of the Planning Committee, but have noted it's content. Yours, Jeff Allen.
Not a particularly long and hopeful reply but a reply non the less lets hope they don't turn down our latest planning application.
