How is the pitch holding up for tomorrow's game ? I see AFC Totton had a tough game at home to the Poppies on Tuesday in the cup and now have to travel to the Poppies tomorrow in the league. Hopefully they can slip up and providing we win, we can close the gap. Come on Poole!

:o0-1 home defeat Oooops. Fareham were very strong at the back with their centre backs winning everything in the air, they were also very good on the break. Poole must have had at the most 3 or 4 shots on target in the whole game.
I'm sure tha lads are very disappointed, still a chance for revenge during the week

???here we go again. Zero goals against half decent opposition. If PTFC want to get out of the Wessex League they need to be CONSISTENT week in and week out and SCORE GOALS against the better teams, when one looks at the attendance figures for the Wessex Premier we are right up there and I beleive that a competitive team playing at a higher level would do even better,. UP THE TOWN

I did a report on the game but to be fair there wasn't much to write about other than we seemed to be all at sea. Some say we are missing a forward but I feel we are missing some bite and creativity in the middle of midfield since losing Taffy, and I think the constant changes in personnel doesn't help the cause [no fault of the clubs]. However I have every confidence TK will sort things out. One thing is for sure Poole are probably going to face a real test in making the next step up and are going to need all the support they can get from everyone, including little things like making sure the 'Golden Goal' sells out at home games. It might even mean that we are realistically a season or two away from what we all want, and will have to be patient and supportive to an ambitious but limited resources club[at this time]. However I do feel once we cross a certain line things could surge forward. KEEP THE FAITH!

???says 2-0 loss. We obviously need a couple of players who can score goals..and yes neutral1 we hardy supporters can wait for next season..problem seems to be that every new season we are faced with another two or three strong competitors who finish ahead of us, remember Andover,Winchester!!!,this year its Totton and Wimborne VTFC and Bournemouth. So I think we need to do it asap to retain supporter interest

Yes expat we could have won comfortably if we had taken all the chances that were created. The lads tried very hard to combat the awful playing conditions but as they say it is the same for both teams.

it's all very worrying. with the continued absence of Karim, Sturge leaving , Funnell apparently having another strop & the forthcoming holiday of Harvell , things are beginning to spiral out of control ! Excluding the 4 - 0 win last Tuesday ,that's 5 games without a proper goal !!!!!!!!!
