The last two games seem to show that Town are now able to grind out odd goal victories even when not playing particularly well. That's great but they need to get back to some convincing stuff and start piling in the goals again. I have followed the Town for over 45 years and - like the bloke from Bristol - I'd be thrilled to see them at Wembley in the FA Vase Final. But promotion remains the more important target. Is the ground up to it yet? Do we need some sort of appeal for a 'ground improvement fund'? Congratulations & thanks to Steve B for a great web site.

We have applied for promotion. We must face a rigorous FA inspection. It will cost around 15K to bring ground up to scratch. We know how we will do the work.We are in FA's hands as to timing and we are in contact with them.We will do all we can.Extra funds are always needed!!

Just an idea, what about an on line appeal on this page with a thermometer on this page and the front page to show the amount raised rising.
You could make the appeal post a sticky with the address and details.
Can donators give by sending cheques or paying by debit/credit cards?
Good idea/Bad idea?

donations by cheque to PTFC are always welcome-we certainly have plenty of major projects pending to fund--hopefully the club has a track record of prudence and also value for money spent but if anyone wants to make a donation for any specific purpose then they should seek me out and we can talk things through. We do generate respectable income through a variety of sources but it is never enough and the generosity of our fantastic supporters never ceases to amaze me.The clubs office adress is 153 High Street Poole BH15 1AU

Promotion Funding, I agree it would be a good idea to have a Thermometer on the website displaying the fuding position.
