Hi,i am interested to know what the plans are for the future of Poole Town FC,i have been reading through a few of the threads with interest and it seems there has been a lot of hard work put in to try raise the clubs profile,Well Done to those committed Supporters and officials.
It has been suggested that IF the club get themselves into a position of Promotion they might not be able to fulfill it due to ground criteria,is this true?,are the local Council helping in any way? Thanks.

I would also like to know (please reply, Mr Chairmain) what plans are being put in place to ensure that we are not denied promotion due to the state of our ground. Winning the league would be nice, but surely a return to Southern League football is our goal.

Indeed, if the ground is not upgraded then what is the point in winning the Wessex leauge this year? Sure you can argue that doing it for prestige or pride is enough but really what we all want is promotion isnt it?

Does anyone who knows me seriously think that the board of this football club is anything other than ambitious for the future? There is an awful lot going on at the moment-which obviously can't be debated here. We have applied for promotion I can't say anymore

I do not think anybody has suggested that the board or the Club is not ambitious but couldyou please say if we can gain promotion as the ground stands. If not what is required to bring it up to the standards required for promotion to the British Gas Business league.

Reading between the lines, things sound like they are moving under an ambitious Board, which is good to hear. I look forward to being present at a home game in the next few weeks and will get a feel of things myself. Many Thanks.

this is really positive stuff to see that the success of the team on the field is leading to more interest in the community. There is no reason that PTFC should not be in upper levels of non league football,We have to pull together and put pressure on Town council etc . Ultimately it will depend on supporters/directors getting into political action. I know the subject has been raised before and as an OF from the Rickaby days I still think the Stadium could be the answer. There is a lot of history and yes, pride there and with modern thinking it could be a show piece.A town of 140,000 should be able to do as well as Dorchester/Weymouth on and off the field. UP THE TOWN!!
