However, only 2 weeks ago, after a 5 game unbeaten run, we were 2nd in the Form Table and very much looking upwards at the Play Off places. Also, the bottom four of the latest Form Table includes Gosport & Merthyr, both of whom are right in the promotion mix & we`ve beaten! I still think there`s one Play Off place going begging and a lot of football to be played before the season`s end. Yes, we`re going through a dodgy patch, but we`re not the only club suffering a downturn in form. With a bit more squad rotation (bring Billy Lowes back to stiffen up the midfield and try Frankie Monk from the start with his pace?), some confidence/self belief/positivity (as seen in the 1st half v Salisbury) and yes, a little luck too, the Play Offs are very much achievable. COYD & keep the faith!

It is not Dorchester that PTFC have to worry about itās those other Magpies having a great season in their new nest AND getting the punters in as well!

The difference in ability and standards and facilities etc between both leagues is MASSIVE!!! No comparison can be made, Wimborne may well go on to gain promotion this season, they may even need a play off but as we well know they will have to have a serious recruitment process to compete at the next level, I can honestly say having watched them quite a few times this year there isnāt one standout player that would enhance our team ( maybe a couple of squad player at best) their so called ā better playersā have been with us previously and didnāt exactly stand out for us, hence the move to Wimborne! ( and allegedly a few more Ā£Ā£Ā£Ā£) To make comparisons now is rather rash I suggest? If they come up next season and struggle a bit watch how there crowd attendances drop, it happens at every level. Tbf imo im not glossing over the fact we also will need a serious makeover of recruitment also next season, but thatās football for you.

Good to read the different opiions on here about Poole Town but I wonder how the managers of both clubs compare I know which I one would prefer.

Absolutely correct Roger and Rob No need to worry about their burgeoning attendance ets not when we have a20 yr plan 1 exit Tatnam 2 find nirvana somewhere in BCP 3 sign at least 6 NLS experienced players 4 an administration capable of handling the above And we have nothing to worry about! Now. About Saturdays match
