This is mainly aimed at Chris Reeves and any directors who are willing to listen/reply....
The debate over the programmes of late is actually talked about quite a bit - certainly between Parky and myself! Anyway after reading Chris' excellent Chairman's write up in the WSM programme with regards 'hard copies' of the programmes last night this got me thinking - could it be possible to set up a subscription for the magazines that way everyone benefits - The club because monies will have already been paid and the customer as they then have hard copies of the programme. Of course a handful of hard copies for say Fred to sell at the gate would be good - Incidentally someone asked for a programme in front of us at the turnstile last night! I actually do something similar with my Rangers FC programmes.....
Just an idea........

Said at the start of the season that I would be willing to pay an upfront subscription. Didn't see what Chris said in the WSM programme as no printed copy available. I understand that if a club does produce a programme, then Southern League rules kick in. This states that a certain number (don't know how many) must be made available to the officials & players free of charge. If I am wrong please correct me. But if I am right, the question is, WHY?! Maybe half a dozen copies, given to them, yes. To go into the visiting club's various archives. But after that they should pay the full price, like everyone else. If come full time they are any left over, then maybe they can have some for nowt. Also if the home club wants to give programmes for free to sponsors or visiting guests that is up to them. Believe me the fact that we no longer have a printed home programme, to read, enjoy & keep, isn't a major issue with me. But it is an issue nevertheless. So please can the board reconsider this. Other supporters, mainly older, like me, feel the same. So hopefully we can find someway to keep us happy & also at least break even in terms of the cost producing them. To reduce the cost why not just print on untreated paper. Maybe a slightly thicker GSM than normal, so they are more robust. Also any unsold/unneeded programmes makes recycling them cheaper & easier too.

Are they still £2 or have they gone up to £3 to help make them pay.

Getting there earlier tomorrow to make sure I get one! Means will be spending more money in the bar. And will start buying 50/50 again. So off the pitch a win at least.
