I saw recently that due to the on going Covid 19 problems in the North of the country lockdowns etc...that the Northern league have said that they intend to split each of the 3 divisions into 6 sub divisions related to geographic regions roughly being 11/12 teams in each section playing each other twice with points from games all ready played leading up to any change being added to final points total. This will only come about if there is a 6/7 week break in the current season due to restrictions. My personal view was that I would hope the Southern section have planned for such senario as it would make sense!!!.

I remember seeing a podcast during lockdown where the 3 League chairman at our level (2 Leagues mentioned plus the Isthmian) had all agreed to synchronise the way they did things during the pandemic.
I would guess this would be no different now.
Who would we get in our "section" do you think?

I believe how it would work is that each individual division would just be split so all Premier division teams would be separated into 2 leagues based on geographic regions so 2 divisions of say 11 teams but only Premier sides whom are currently within our Premier division.Im sure that makes sense.

That makes more sense than my suggestion HH but it puts us in a tough group. We should have better things to do on a Friday night. Back to Autumnwatch! COYD

According to the BBC & papers another national lockdown is going to start sometime next week. Let's hope they are wrong. If not....😥
