I would seriously advise all our supporters to read the chairman's post on the main site RE covid restrictions on matchday. One thing that wasn't clear though,do season ticket holders still have to apply for a ticket online?

Notice the regulations don't include wearing a mask. Is this optional? Or only those with medical reasons exempt. Also you say the stadium will be cashless. Does that mean no printed programme, 50/50 tickets or club shop open? This is of course now provisional, as when he gets back from Italy the clown 🤡 may shut us all down!

We would certainly like to encourage the wearing of face coverings during close proximity activities (such as any queuing, when your temperature is being taken, when your ticket is being scanned) however we decided against adding it specifically to the regulations. The stadium will be cashless and paperless. No shop, no catering, no 50/50 sales, no printed team sheets. We hope that some of these measures will be relaxed for future games.

I need to be at the ground 1230ish to test the PA as obviously, its not been used since February. This sounds daft, but how do I identify myself at the gate?

In view of the Suspension of Crowds trial announced by Michael Gove this morning does this mean match goes ahead without crowd ??

I think the match day trials were aimed for EFL league games and next months possible date to allow some fans back in Premier league and EFL grounds has now been suspended down the lower league pyramid I would be very very surprised if clubs were not able to play in front f crowds and remember these being only a max up too 600 in our step 3 and a lot lower crowds down the pyramid. Not playing in front of any crowds would probably be the end of hundreds of clubs!!!

It has been said that season ticket holders do not need to apply online for tickets. What about those fans who hold gold / silver / bronze enhanced season tickets. These do not contain any barcode or QR code so will they be sufficient to gain entry on match day or do we need to be issued with some form of additional ticket.

Grandad - there are only 4 gold season tickets, yourself, Peter Leppington, Greg Welch and Brian Penney. You've all had the email which was sent to all season ticket holders but you're right I didn't put anything specific about what you do on the first game. When you arrive, please tell the ticket scanning staff that you are a season ticket holder, then please go to Marilyn/whoever is handing out the 'standard' season tickets so that they can mark you off. At subsequent games - as per the notes I sent out - you must have your season ticket with you and be able to show it so that the ticket scanners can write down the ST number to know who is in. It's another extra bit of work but one we have to do.

If you've seen the behind the goal celebrations for Hashtag fc v Soham Town Rangers, I can't see the government allowing crowds at our level for long either.

It doesn't apply to us yet as our bar can't open anyway. But will some of our midweek away matches have to now kick off earlier. With clubhouses forced to close at 10pm it will be pushing it a bit remaining with 7:45pm kick off. Especially in any Cup or Trophy games, which end drawn. Even though no extra time, the penalties could still push the match beyond the 10pm curfew. So possibly would need to start at 7:30pm or earlier to get it completed in time.

I assume the bar would just shut whilst the game was still on? As they have to do last orders at 9.30 and be empty by 10 it would make sense just to close it after half-time so no-one can go in there after a game?
