The Reserves were absolutely fantastic on Thursday night, against a Portchester side packed with Wessex Premier first team players.
Brilliant Result.

I have seen AFC Porchester's squad for that game and do not recognise any of the names listed as being 'Wessex Premier first team players' - would you care to name them ! See the attached link, if in doubt: www.afcportchester.co.uk/first-team/squad

Thought you might 'pop up' - fool ! The 'fool' has been doing a bit of simple checking and here's the confirmation of the 'fake news'.
Of the 12 Portchester players who took part in the Reserves Fixture, 9 of them are registered with the first team, and 7 of these have featured for the first team making a total of 33 appearances between them this season.
Now if I found it so easy to check up, what made it difficult for you? Something to do with the truth interfering with your agenda of disparaging Poole Town whilst hiding behind a misleading name? I think you owe the Reserves management an apology for doubting their veracity.

Wow, great work with that ! Obviously you have a lot more time on your hands to waste than me on the subject. However I have to disagree with you as 'Reserves' original post said: 'The Reserves were absolutely fantastic on Thursday night, against a Portchester side packed with Wessex Premier first team players.'This is inaccurate as looking at AFC Porchester's first team; www.afcportchester.co.uk/first-team/squad there were none of them playing against Poole Town Reserves in that game !

Rob, Whilst you and I tend to have differing views on quiet a lot of topics we both have the progress of the club at heart so I fully support your approach concerning pooletownsnr. Whether this person is "snr" by age or mentality is open to debate, but it is clear from this latest post, he neither really supports the club, the team, or his fellow supporters and when proven wrong does not have the b...s to at least apologise

The team that played Porchester were all over 18 and 6 of them are signed for the first team. More fact than fiction !

Of course some of our reserves are registered with the Southern League. If they were not, they could not play for the first team and that is the point of a reserve side.
As for their ages, the Reserves Manager said "important to remember 12 of them are still u18s" now that may or may not mean they are still Under 18 but that they were 18 after the qualifying date.
