Oh dear, our first game back at Tatnam after a short while away sorting out life matters etc and although the game was abysmal from a PT perspective, we shall be back supporting the mighty Red and White...COYD
Just a shame Poole couldn't build on the 2-1 lead at halftime...they were actually playing good football just before the break...

If we lose this one, or even draw it, I reckon it's 'season over'! COYD \ You are right Brian. Its not the playoffs we need to worry about its the spectre of another drop!!!!

Report on the front page spot on, only if one of those chances had gone in when we were 2-1 up game would have finished completely different but just absolutely shocked at how we fell apart in the last 20 minutes. Lets just hope the lads put it right Saturday!

To be fair Poole played some attractive football at times in the first half, but went to sleep in the second half. Wimborne deserved their 5 2 win. This is now nine goals conceded (five at home ) from two consecutive games. What's happened to the defence. Promotion is now out of the question, season over by Christmas. If the club wants to return to the National League South there is now a lot to be considered for next season. Will the club stand by their present management team, what will be the policy for close season signings, etc. Now is the time for the B.O.D. to start planning.

thanks Ballboy for expressing what so many think. are we in a worse state financially than is presently being revealed? Despite all the assurances from "the usual suspects" we were relegated last season. some forum members had expressed their misgivings before and during season 2017/2018 about our seeming inability to sign players able to secure our position. Again before the start of 2018/2019 we were unable to retain or sign players who ended up with our closest rivals and who are now helping those sides to success. We need a revitalisation;something to give us something to hope for. does anyone see that at this moment??

We are now just 6 points above the bottom three. Yes I know we have games in hand, but unless we actually we them, they are literally pointless. According to what the club has said in the local paper, the squad is too large and needs thinning. Don't know if it is the same thing but it looks weak and needs strengthening. With Charlie Davis now gone to Gosport Borough we have lost another player. Back next month at Tatnam on 5th Jan with them. Also once again in Luke Cairney we have a goalkeeper who will be picked no matter what. We need not just one good keeper in Luke, but a second. That way with all the matches coming up, he doesn't actually have to play in them all. And we will also be able to have a sub keeper for each match as well. Really hope we don't slip two divisions in two seasons, but right now that is an increasing possibility. Right enough negativety, lets beat Salisbury on Saturday & Weymouth on NYD and wonder what all the fuss was about. COYD 🐬

So Dave, summing up your report, we have better players in the squad, than those we have let go, load of bollox on today's performance.

Good to see the players we release doing well elsewhere. I've never known a squad which chops and changes so much. Is it any surprise we struggle with no consistency or a settled squad?

We wait with baited breath for comments from the usual suspects who will tell us all is fine and if we dig deep we will push for promotion. I'm sorry but today was coming and mid table will be an achievement. Sad day indeed for this club. Gutted.

The famous Poole "Curse of the big crowd". Scorpio. That curse has been around an awful long time!!. We always hope for the best for our team but right now I am really disheartened. The problem is that we all know that apart from some fine words Sweet @#$% will be done about it.

Your right Expat we all love this club but what we witnessed today was unacceptable.Yes you would say 2-1 ht was a fair reflection of state of play but the second half performance was atrouious and say we lost our shape commitment and of course our manager for the last 8/5 minute s of the game was totally and absolutely ridiculous.

Be very careful what you say as a bad comment will cause controversy - 2 games lost 9 goals conceded. when a chairman has to restrain a manager when in football does that happen? I am sure things wont change and supporters will continue to suffer. what do the BOD have to say about Saturday and today...…….. I am sure some excuse will be made, well now is the time to make changes either supporters should demand answers or a change in management - what is it going to be BOD??

Wasnt long ago Whisken was saying we needed 2 or 3 additions.

So Dave, summing up your report, we have better players in the squad, than those we have let go, load of bollox on today's performance. Absolutely not. More fearful we might suffer a successive relegation. Which doesn't bare thinking about. Don't know if we have better players in the squad. Other than in the Southern League Cup or Dorset Senior which ain't all that, and they know that too. Until they are pitched in for real no one will ever know what they are capable of. One thing I don't understand we have Jack Scrimshaw on loan from Afcb to gain experience, meanwhile Olly Balmer is on loan to B&L for the same thing. Never thought we would gain promotion straight back this season. But the way we just give up when the going gets difficult is difficult to take.
