Couldnt make it to Lymington to watch the 1st team tonight, so popped down to tatnam to watch the reserves play. If we can keep hold of these youngsters then Poole Town will be in for some exciting times.
Well done to Kevin Jackson who has not only snapped up the best youngsters around, but has them playing some great football. Cobham were outplayed at times and Poole had a comfortable 3-0 lead by half time.
Great to see Fletch out there helping the younger guys, but all those who doubted that these lads can hold their own in the league will be surprised.
Will certainly go along and watch the reserves play whenever I can.

I also watched the game at Tatnum last night, and yes without doubt the youngsters played some exciting stuff at times fully deserving the result. However a slight cautionary note, most of these yougsters came to the club hoping to play "some" games with the reserves, as they step up from Youth to senior football so a lot of the games they have played so far are a bonus, indeed already 3 or 4 of them have been looked at by Tommy, with the firsts, none of whom have let him down, however they will need some experianced "old" heads to help them through the course of the season, I know KJ understands this. But I am excited by the start Carl Chivers, Dave Sturgess and Paul Baystone (who I believe are still only 16 years old), and the others have made, interestingly enough what age did Rooney make his debut with Everton? if your good enough your old enough and if they are properly looked after and supported well, the future for PTFC is bright, good luck to Tommy and KJ for the season

Couldnt get to Lymo so watched the reserves against Cobham great performance. Some of the youngsters again impressed but I thought it was a few of the older ones who caught the eye, Gary at the back was Immense as was the forward who scored a gem not sure who he was but he looked really good. Also noticed Asaba played at right back looked quality before going off Injured can anyone confirm if that means he and Turner have signed? Was turner playing In Lymington??.
Any way good performance by the lads look forward to watching them again.
