I was aware that Stephanie had been ill and in hospital for some time. I did not realise how serious. I received the following email this evening:
It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you that Stephanie Penrose founder of Penrose Photographer and issTV has sadly passed away after a brave battle with cancer. Despite her determination to beat the disease she passed away at Forest Holme Hospice in Poole this afternoon with her parents at her side. Her funeral is on Friday March 19th, 4pm at Poole Crematorium. She would love to see a full house so please spread the word.
Claire Lycett
With Kind Regards issTV ---------------------------------------------------------------------------END Stephanie filmed some great highlights of this season including a few Charlie goals, the team photo preparations, the goal that never was at Brading and the Non interiew wth Jason.
I for one will miss Stephanie, she was different and made a difference to PTFC. They had planned to cover the Semi Final, but that will have to be dropped now.
I hope that iss TV can carry on and become everything that Stephanie hoped it would.
Stephanie RIP
I will attend the funeral on Friday.

Very sad news! Stephanie was part of PTFC's recent rise and her enthusiasm for the club and her business was clear to see. At no point did I ever think she was suffering from a life threatening disease, she just seemed to get on with things. A very brave person indeed. RIP Stephanie.

Very sad news, she was a very enthusiatic person and her support for PTFC was warming. She struck me as a decent person. A sad loss to Poole.

I was really shocked when I read this. Stephanie had done various photography work at a couple of companies I had worked at. An excellent photographer and genuinely nice person.
The minute's silence at tonight's game was a nice gesture.

I forgot to mention on Friday that Rob Bayston, Mrs DY and I attended the funeral. It was a fitting tribute to one who had achieved so much and had more to offer. Literally every seat taken and the aisle, both sides and the foyer were full of people standing. Biggest turnout I have ever seen, including most of the council members. The Mayor even made a speech. There were numerous speakers and the whole event lasted 2 hours.
RIP Steph.
