When you are logged on, you can change your 'profile'. - Click on 'Profile at the top of the page and in the resulting page,
- click on 'modify profile'
To add some quotes is easy. - Just enter what you want to say in either the 'Personal text' or the 'Signature' box
. To have your own picture or avatar which is what it is correctly called you firstly need to decide what you want. If you're happy with one of the stock ones available in the drop down box beside the 'avatar' sign, select it and you're done. If you want a custom avatar then this is a bit more tricky. - First find a picture from your pictures or web files.
- Then make sure it is the correct size (max. 100 x 100 pixels)
- Upload it to a third party image hosting site like tinypic.com/
- Finally, put the whereabouts of your image into the box designed for that purpose, 'avatar URL'.

Making your own picture 100 x 100 pixels max is tricky. I suggest you open the picture with Paint and then change the attributes, resave the picture, upload it to your host, such as tinypic, or FaceBook or PhotoBucket etc and then follow the procedue from Rob.
We await the finished article with anticipation
