Is it me or is it highly amusing that Rage Against The Machine got the Xmas Number One? Just shows the power of the Intenet and how many of us are cheesed off with the X-Factor/Reality Show rubbish

No, not just you Sterte - the people have spoken. I lost interest in the "charts" many years ago, but this warmed the cockles of my heart. Too much contrived, studio produced "pap" around nowadays. Incidently, first track played over the P.A. between acts last night at BIC...R. A. T. M. !!

Also of note last night bh12 was that Roy (Roy Wood of 'Wizzard' fame) played the 1973 hit 'I wish it could be Christmas everyday' last night to which EVERYONE was singing and dancing to!!! but for us QUO purists the best Christmas tune came at the end of last nights show with Quo's very own Christmas single from 2008: 'It's Christmas time' - happy days.......

Hi Steve47, Nice to know there's a fellow Quo'ite in the PTFC ranks. I thought the lads were superb last night (fair play to Roy W Band also), with the Quo message board indicating one of the best gigs of this years tour - happy days indeed. Oh well, that's the music sorted on the coach for the W B trip !

They would have no chance if Parky released his Christmas song.

(I have also seen dad and son Wilkins at the mighty B.I.C. watching the Quo!!) Anyway I thought they were 'sh@t hot' last nite!!

Hi Steve47,
One of the older fan’s I’m afraid, but not quite an old *art ! (yet).
Bought the singles I. I. T. S. & P. O. M. M. as a casual fan back in the day, then got seriously into the band from the Ma Kelly’s Greasy S album back in 1970. Got every album since.
Sprinkling of “snow on the roof” now (bit of that around on Mon’ night) but still into the lads as I was back in the day – still the best at what they do bar none.
Yep, they were bang on it Monday night, absolutely superb – could of stayed there all night !
Do you know Francis R is going out for a solo jaunt in May of 2010.
Have a great Christmas.

Tony, good to know it's you who is the quo-ite!! (Andy Orman is too you know!) Hope you all had a great Christmas? Outstanding Goal from Luke yesterday!!!!
Following on from our brief chat yesterday I personally started at the age of 11 listening 'properly' to Quo in 1988 and distinctly remember it was a version of 'R.A.O.T.W entitled 'Running all over the world' for the years 'sport aid' which prompted me to go and buy the latest album at the time 'Ain't complaining'
Four years later in 1992 I saw them for the first time at the B.I.C. on the 'Live alive Quo' tour and I have only missed ONE gig at the B.I.C. since... So after 13 'gigs' I am what can only be described as 'hooked'!!!!
Yes I have seen F.R. is touring on his own, but only at far off destinations....
I trust you have heard Rolf and Rick's 'outrageous' Christmas number?...
Happy new year to you all and hopefully we can talk 'Quo' on the trip to Newcastle.....
