;D Just watched the above game, now I'll admit to liking the Yoo and the way they play, but sometimes I worry for them. Two nil down at home is not good, the title is on the line. They haven't created too many clearcut chances at all. The scousers up the road must be rubbing their hands in glee
The start of the second half they bring on their on loan striker a certain Carlos Tevez(who in the way he plays bears a remarkable resemblance to a certain Kevin Gill) this player is the catalyst for an amazing recovery from Utd and Howard Webb who manages to award a slightly dubious penalty, for Utd's first of 5 goals to stick Utd back on top of the pile.
Hopefully this will be a timely reminder to Fergie that the guy deserves to be signed on a permanent contract. Utd last season with Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo playing as an interchangable mobile front three were awesome.
The difference this season is the addition of Berbatov, and they are not the force they were. "Berbatov gives them something different", yep he sure does Fergie, he dulls the cutting edge.

Speaking as a Spurs Supporter of nearly 40 years , who sadly no longer cares that they get stuffed 5-2 , particularly while The Dodgy Car Dealer is in charge , I have to pick you up on your comment that " Carlos is God " . What he actually is , I'm afraid is the personification of everything that has gone wrong with Professional Football at the top level , and the reason that so many of us prefer to spend 6 quid each week watching Real Men playing . He was touted to West Ham , quite outside League Regulations , by shady agents , keen to make huge amounts of cash , shone in a very poor team that without him would have been relegated , then as soon as his agent found a bigger club , got him in there . He now plays the occasional role at Utd. whenever someone else is either injured or rotated , and is purely a footballing mercenary , with no feeling of loyalty to any badge or set of supporters , although I'm sure his agent occasionally reminds him to kiss these , just for effect. Having said that , I do admire the whole-hearted way he plays , always gives 100% , and I don't blame him for his position , as he is simply a puppet whose talent is being abused by the leeches who infest the game of football these days.

Well done "ashsec " , it's great to see that this country's fine tradition of clever football banter and repartee is alive and well , and that it's future is safe in your hands . No doubt you'll keep your biting wit as sharp as a knife indulging in regular little exchanges with all those young whippersnappers at Cuthbury , eh ? I couldn't hope to compete.

I will never waste my money on either team, unless they are lucky enough to play Poole Town FC. It's football by proxy.
