You should a career as a psychiatrist slepe - or join a circus (get it?). Fascinating stuff. I am;- The Over Excited Fan - keep thinking about it and thinking "COYD".... The Philosopher - In the history of the world it doesn't matter... Division 2 - sometimes moaning, sometimes not
You'll recall what Bill Shankley said when asked if football was a matter of life and death - "Oh no, it's far more important than that!"

I think we as football supporters experience virtually all the feelings mentioned. Have you ever watched a match that you are a neutral, funny how it's not as enjoyable as watching "your" team. No feeling of caring, of what happens on the field. It's just a game...........no way

I used to have at least six pints and twenty ciggies before watching Argyle. Now I have lunch and coffee, a pint on the odd occasion, pre-Tatnam.

You've gotta have soem affiliation with one team or another - or not as most times I went to see Cardiff City I hoped they lost (not really). Steve

I stopped enjoying going to be honest, just feel a lot more relaxed now and started enjoying the whole experience again. It was always a catch up with mates time as I only got there once every other month in the last few years. Yes, i'm enjoying the success, but would've still come, as watching the Dolphins with the banter and the people is just agreat tonic after a stressful week. Floreat Dolphins

Excellent question Slepe, interesting answers and am still intrigued by Sterte, as an ex-green machine meself (I prefer Ron's paisties) there is a mine of pre match ritual to be dug here. As it is for me now, in later "middle age" having the crac is the best pre-match for me with a pint and chunter with the opposition, cant be beat.

Well you do surprise me Parky, there's me thinking you were Mr Cool I hate it when we lose, that's surely standard for a "real supporter" COYD.
