We win the league and eligible for promotion. If we haven't got the go ahead for Branksome, does the Tatnam ground shape up for the next level for next season? And if not, do we not get promoted?

I think you can rest assured that the board that runs this club, so well, have a plan B. In the meantime, the players need to make sure on the pitch and the fans need to continue to back the Branksome proposal.

Your question has been asked before justafan and, given local government planning bureaucracy, I don't see how Branksome can be ready for season 2009-2010. There is, I understand, a plan to upgrade Tatnam Farm but I don't know the details. Ground grading rules (necessary I suppose) have caused PTFC problems in the past but it would, as you imply, be tragic to win the league and not go up. It's hard enough to get out of Step 5 as it is with no play offs!

There is a plan for promotion, would require a lot of hard work from a lot of supporters, and would only be short term. But we must trust and support our Board when they ask for help.

I maybe missing the point but would getting back into Poole stadium be feasable in the longterm? I know from my younger days when I attended games with my father that the pitch had 'artificial' corners (I used to take them in with the flags at full time!) because of the speedway track but maybe just maybe something could be done with the 'old' stand (ie) rebuilt but with enough room for Greyhounds, Speedway and our beloved club?! Looking forward already to meeting Chris, let us all know what we can do to help.
