I see the under nine's had atrip to ST Mary's early in the new year. They looked as though they were enjoying it. The under 18's appear to be doing okay and Poole Town Ladies are in the semi-final of the County Cup.
How many teams are the Town running at the moment?

Brian, think our Board will speak with eloquence as ever, doubt that there is a stone left unturned. And there should hopefully be a tremendous support there. COYD. To paraphrase another town/club's motto Floreat Dolphins.

...........there's more:
My daughter plays for the U16 Girls side (Poole Town Wessex) and they have been invited to watch the Eng U19 game at AFCB against Spain on Feb 10th (unfortunately missing Lymington) for just £1 a ticket.

Brian I think there are about 33 youth teams that play for PTFC, I'm not sure about the ladies but know of at least 2

The youth set-up is an amazing part of PTFC that many of you may not be fully aware of. It's hardly been mentioned in the Branksome politics, which is a shame. There are loads of really keen, committed coaches and so many kids - all of whom are dedicated & seem to be proud to be associated with PTFC. And there are some real quality players & teams.

Perhaps that's our next step then, if we as supporters, and the teams, coaches and parents start writing to the local media, etc, to publicise the teams and the work done. I can easily do posters, flyers etc.
