Doors open 6.45 not 6.00 as first thought-this is because it is in main theatre not the smallere one so no worries re space this is the most important fixture of our season please please if it is remotely possible---turn up in droves with your scarves and hats-let your applause for the project ring out and lets hope those who have total misconceptions about what we propose be reassured-we will not win over the political activists but surely right thinking locals when they know the truth not the lies they have been fed will see the huge community benefits the club needs as much support on friday as it can get please be there and persuade others to come as well!!!!

I'm gonna have to shuffle a few shifts around this week for Tuesday night's game and Friday. Should be able to make Friday by the skin of my teeth, I've got to pick up a client around 4pm at Terminal 5 to take to Winchester so I will attempt to steam down to Poole afterwards. Is there a car park nearby, and will there be any food available near the meeting hall ?

m3, there's a car park across the road and nearby at the Dolphin Swimming Pool. There's KFC etc nearby.

I only do Swanwick back to Poole but some Fridays even that's taken an hour thirty :-( Client's only got hand luggage so they should come through customs quick, I'll hang around the spur road and nip in quick when he rings. Hopefully get on the motorway before the traffic builds. Then I've only got to hit rush hour traffic around Winchester and nip out the back of the city through Romsey to the M27, avoiding the M3/M27 Junction. Might even bump into you on the way. Not literally ;D

Think that's in the artistic impressions we've put forward. The lady is right though, I was at the Rec yesterday and It could do with some brightening/greening up.

Best park in the dolphin swimming baths as apparently the NCP opposite is now being used as a bus stop.

Best park in the dolphin swimming baths as apparently the NCP opposite is now being used as a bus stop. There is usually plenty of room in the "gravel pit". Watch out for the puddles.

There is a small multi-story behind the Lighthouse. If you pay for your ticket at the machines in the Lighthouse, then it is usually only £1 for the evening.

Re the lady who wrote the letter about Branksome Rec, I've recently sent my second letter to the Echo on the same theme and stressing how beneficial the PTFC proposed regeneration will be etc etc.

;DWas going to stick a reply on there, but don't seem to be able to The OCHE website doesn't seem to be at the cutting edge of reliability/technology. Think they need somebody who's update on such matters, lives locally and is available for reasonable rates

The meeting on Friday 23 is to be held in the Concert Hall of Lighthouse. For PTFC fans who remember their football at the stadium then they may remember this in its former name of the Wessex Hall at Poole Arts Centre. It is the same place but modernised thanks to Lottery funding in 2002. It is the largest arts venue outside of London.
The Concert Hall has a capacity of 1,500 (2,500 when flat floor). So there will be plenty of room for everyone. The hall is famous in terms of who have played on stage. In recent times Oasis, Ian Brown, Paul Weller, OCS, McFly, Kings of Leon and Van the Man have performed. For those with longer memories; The Who, The Jam, Michael Jackson, U2, Quo, Thin Lizzy, Page and Plant and many other rock legends have played there. It is also home of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
Do not go into the Theatre (Towngate, for those with a long memory) as this is not the venue for the meeting. If you do, then you may come face to face with ‘Dirty Den’ of EastEnders fame who is appearing this week. The theatre is a middle scale space. Look out soon for a drama involving a ‘football fan looking for love’. 2 well known TV names take the lead roles.
There is a 100 seater cinema (Ashley) on the ground floor which is the only cinema in Poole centre.
There is a café open to 7.30 pm and 2 bars open ‘til late. Enjoy your evening.
