I felt this was a good team performance where we dominated and rarely looked in danger. Some great energy by Taff and a calm head by Skelton helped control the game. Having Culli Back is looking like a good signing and shows up how we have missed, amongst other things, his heading abilities. Again Gilly impressed with a cracking goal as he cut in from the right to the edge of the penalty box, unleashing a shot that curved around the keepers outstretched arm and drop inside the far post.
In the second half we upped our dominance and the improving Sturgess fired in the second when he picked up the ball and went on a short run before firing low into the left corner from the edge of the box. Leo, Billy and Micky Hubbard came into play and shortly after a Bailey Pearce shot hit the bottom of the post after the keeper, to his credit, made a fine save and pushed it on to the foot of the post. Unfortunately for the keeper the rebound hit him on the head and rebounded over the line for goal number three. A good team performance, onwards to Newport. Well Done Lads!!

Great little ground but difficult to find your way into if you've never been there before, I heard others had the same difficulty. Some signs wouldn't go amiss.

I think the number of hits and the fact we had 37 ON LINE!!! shows that we have to maintain and improve the live updates. Can't think of many clubs at even Conference Level that seem to do this. The interest is growing week by week, and it's good that we are getting lots of good feedback. :-)

Good report m3, thanks. You forgot to mention that the game turned when you arrived (no coincidence) after a very shaky opening 15 minutes. It was good to see everyone who made it to Fareham and thanks for the lift to the station m3.
