Oh Parky I didn't realise you used to be so energetic. Maybe you can give us a live demo on saturdays. Are you sure you don't have an alter ego.

My only memory of the Cavern was watching "local" groups and Cilla. Oh and trying to stay away from the walls............which were always "running wet"

Superb stuff Parky, you’ve made an old classic rock veteran very happy. As a fan since ‘68s P O M M right through the halcyon days of the 70’s (Ma Kelly’s, Dog of Two Head, Piledriver etc etc etc) I’m looking forward to tonight. I’m sure the lads will deliver – they never fail.

Well you know what I’m going to say, Quo were superb last night. Being the 40th (yes the 40th folks) anniversary tour, the set list was spot on. From POMM & IITS through the iconic 70s catalogue to today, they threw the kitchen sink at us. No going through the motions here, 100% straight down the middle and clearly enjoying it themselves – long may it continue.
They do what they do, and they do it better than anyone else.
With Plant ruling out a Zep re-union (for the best methinks…..Liona Lewis & Jimmy Page “A Whole Lotta Love” Peeeeeerrrrrrrllllleeeessssssssseeeeee !!) It will be interesting to see who calls it a day next – but then again “Rock N Roll Never Dies etc etc”.

Nice one M3. Although obviously aware back in the day of tracks such as This Flight Tonight, Bad Bad Boy & My White Bicycle etc , never really took Nazareth too seriously. A couple of days after watching your clip (and few others from Naz’) , I was in Zavvi Castlepoint and spotted “The Very Best of Nazareth” for £2.99 !! I have to say, good stuff - must investigate further. Trouble is (as with all my bands) I’m a bit of a completist and they have quite a back catalogue (drives the missus mad). Might have a go at their latest offering “The Newz” and take it from there. Yep, you’ve guessed it, along with the footy music is my passion. Started in the early 60’s and been involved ever since - you’re never too old to rock !!! Have a good one.

Heard this tune recently, last time I heard this was back in the late 70's during my first back packing trip to Western Australia. THE BABYS - Isn't It Time - John Waite Brings back memories of the beaches and Aussie Sandman vans.

An old album I bought back in the late 70's was by Jon Anderson of 'Yes' and also 'Jon and Vangelis'. The album was called 'Olias of sunhillow' and is one that never dates - some very chilled tracks. Some great artwork on the album.
Olias - Song of Search / To the Runner
