I'll wear my Poole Town hat and see if I can muster some more mutual support.

Christchurch v Cowes and Wimborne v Hamworthy are still on as a couple of possible alternatives as well as the Cherries

Having just driven over to Tatnam from Swanage to find a deserted scene , feel rather disgruntled to say the least . Obviously it's not the Club's fault that the ref has decided that a little bit of moisture has made the game unplayable , but I do feel that someone could have put a notice of explanation up somewhere . I drove round to the School car-park to find the gates locked , then round to the Tatnam Rd entrance , where the only notice was one stating that the game kicked off at 1500 . Naturally I put 2 and 2 together and guessed what had happened , and with hindsight should have checked the Web-site before setting off , but as usual the weather here in the tropical Purbecks gave me no cause for concern . In these days of optimism and when we are all trying to create a bright future for the club , I don't wish to sound like a whinger , but at a time when fans are talking about putting up posters advertising when games are ON , it might also be worth Club officials sticking up a sign when games are OFF !

Have to agree swanage, after sorting out someone to look after my son, i too drove to the ground at about 1:40,to be met with pad-locked gates. If people coming into the town saw the very good signs, i presume by sterte, went to the ground, what will they think ?

so sorry for any grief--as soon as we knew at 11.15 clubcall was updated and loads of phone calls made I always try and ensure that the clubcall line is right up to date in such circumstances we were very frustrated at the decision-no way did we want that game called off!!

Combat Barbie springs to mind, I note sterte you didn't offer any advice, is this down to all the RAF exercises being run from a nice warm 3* or above hotel in sunnier climes?

Sadly Rob, hotels are for the pointy fast things. Most of my time has been in 12x12s with green taxis to ferry public school boys off to mess meetings in strange places. Why do the Army take their silver to war? Will see if i can get some red filters for the torches :-)

Sterte would you leave your silver behind knowing the RAF might nick it and claim they won it in some battle somewhere?

Now then boys, we should have a fancy dress party and see who can dress in best camo colours and do the best job in putting up the posters unnoticed, to the winners the silver wear.

Rob-We'd be too busy going to the next conflict, it's the AGC you have to watch.... Think the bar staff are ahead on cammo. I live in dark rooms/tents so am no good at that :-)
