Is there any chance Jason will play on Saturday? if not any ideas who might replace him? Jase looked in a bad way last night.

He was on crutches, looks like he's hurt his leg. I expect Tommy will be on the case for a replacement if Jase doesn't make it for Saturday.

Rumor has it (and it is only rumor) Simon was not happy being named on the bench so he did Jason "in" prior to the start so he got a game at least!!!! Good to see SB leading from the front, by volunteering to play GK when we needed someone, true team spirit nothing more than what you'd expect from the skipper, but boy did he look cold. Jason is liable to be out for a few days, but TK has it covered for Saturdays big one.

I think that it's only right that I respond to the scurrilous accusations that have been fired in my direction by Captain Mainwaring. I wouldn't knobble Jason for several reasons - I've no ambition to be a full time keeper and also he's bigger than me, so I wouldn't fancy the comeback if I do "get him"! And if we are going to drop people in it - if you are in the prediction league competition, I just thought you might like to know that our esteemed director who works in the Armed Forces asked me to "throw one in" last night to help his score prediction for the game! Touche, Rob!

Indeed it is (and Bashley, Lymington before that), but the Echo article appears to rule him out.
First time I saw him play against us was a Boxing Day game against Bash at the Stadium in the Southern League days (the season we both got promoted I think). The ground was so full I watched the game standing on the bend behind one of the goals. Around 2000 people there if I remember correctly.

2,000 !! They must have been the Good old days by the sound of it, Doughug.
If Wayne Shaw ever plays for us I'm gonna stand behind his goal. He's the only player I know who can keep on the backs of his defence, the ref, the linos and banter with the fans at the same time - a great character.
I liked Simon Arthur when I saw his brief appearance for us last season, a very vocal and capable keeper.

m3, if you go into the boardroom there's match reports with gates of 3000!! Those days will return, if we all pull together.
