Another good afternoon out with an excellent following, including 3 (Three) flags behind the goal. A good workmanlike performance with Charlie taking his Hat-trick well. Well done lads!
Onwards to VTFC now.

Hope things improve for Mrs Slepe soon. The result has certainly cheered me up, still blaming you m3! :-) I said the other week that once Charlie got one he'd get a hat-trick. Roll on VT. COYD

A very good Hat-Trick it was too, Sterte. His second was a peach after some good passing, started by the keeper, with a final ball over the top for Charlie to blast high into the net.
Doughug, you and your mate were right, it was his right foot.

Is that two games in a row Charlie has scored from through balls?. The lad's confidence is back :-) Wish I could get a flag/banner ready for next Saturday

The whole game was good yesterday, even Leigh's little push on the keeper, (it was friendly). Leigh then put his hands in the air and called to our supporters "yea a goal" and ran back to position. The keeper shoke his head and carried on with a smile on his face ;D.

Having seen Taffy get sent off for a playful cuff round the ear to his mate's son in a Dorset Cup Final a couple of sesaons ago, I would rather our players don't test the referees' sense of humour in such a way. The lino on that night just saw Taff "slapping" the Hamworthy United player, and the other Hamworthy players were quick to tell Andy Borthwick not to speak up in Taff's defence. I still think we would have won that game comfortably otherwise.
Likewise, Leigh's "raising of the hand" on Saturday could so easily have been misinterpreted, given that Moneyfields had had a player sent off, other Moneyfields players over-reacted, Leigh's "history", ref decides to even things up etc., ...

Just got back from brief trip to London - great news to hear Poole win so convincingly - how have Moneyfields managed to do so well this season? Great to see Charlie back on top form. Looking forward to top of the table clash next weekend.

Great to be there and meet m3, Steve, Chris and the red & white army with their banners - especially m3's! A wonderful day out for me and thanks to Marlane, Natalie and Fiona for getting me there and going out their way to take me to Swanage afterwards.
