I would like to be there but it's complicated!
I am in Poole on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th and could meet more or less anywhere in Poole. I had a 'possible' offer of a lift (I'd pay my share of course) as yet unconfirmed but, unfortunately, I have to get the last bus back to Swanage from Poole bus station at 6.30p.m. IF it's possible to get back from Moneyfields by then!
ANY OFFERS???

Brian, apologies for taking soo long to get back to you. Unfortunately I can't go to Moneyfields as my house refurbishment has fallen behind and really need to do it next weekend. Apologies once again.

That's okay sterte, don't worry about it. I'll hve another go through a new thread - or try and persuade my 'Supreme Being' to pick me up from Poole when I get back.

Unfortunately I can't help out Brian. I will be catching a train down with my bike from Basingstoke to Hillsea or Fratton and then biking it from the station. If it helps I think there is a fast train service from Poole to Southampton and then a stopper from Southampton to Hillsea or Fratton.

Brian, there is a 2030 and a 2300 from Poole to Swanage (40) on Saturday so there would be ample time to catch the train to Hilsea. You get back into Poole (Railway) at 1936 (leaving Hilsea at 1744)
Hope that may help you?

Thanks m3 and thanks steve, it's good of you to get that information but I have to get the 6.30p.m. to meet my partner with our caravan at a place called 'Ulwell' in Swanage before it gets too dark. I'd love to be doing what you're doing m3. I often use my bike for things like that.

Yep I'm looking forward to it Brian, hopefully I'll be at Swanage too but minus the bike this time.

On this day in 2007 I saw my first Dolphins game - Poole Town 6 v New Milton 0. Great if they could repeat that tomorrow, but I very much doubt it. ;D Any win will do.... COYD!
