Two extremely important matches await the boys.......this is that moment for the "tough to get going" because the going is about to get tough. We must get something from these games. I doubt anyone is looking forward to their Tatnam visit. So it is vital to keep them believing that they have to play a containing game, because we have the players to break down the most stubborn defence.
Not having seen the two main rivals.....VT and Moneyfields. We will see what their challenge is made of, not that it will be decided by these two games. I think it's a three horse race, we just have to keep our nose in front ;D

Spot on Slepe: VT & Moneyfields really look like the other contenders for the title. I was quite surprised that VT beat Wimborne so convincingly today (5-1). Poole will need to be on top form to get the results away at these 2 over the next weeks.

I am sure TK knows what to expect from these two teams.
It will be interesting to see what TK decides to do at VT, fill the midfield and protect the back four. Attacking on the break........much the same as we get when teams visit us. or take the game to them. I think we are good enough to take the game to them providing the midfield is well balanced and very mobile. Our back four is awesome, especially now with the addition of Mike Walker. In fact it will be a difficult to select the back four. My particular favourite is Poore,Whitley,Dibba and Browne.....midfield Gilly,Hubbard,Taffy and Billy. And of course our strikers, Charlie and Browner......no suprises there, it's the subs that need to be selected with care. Walker,White,Sturgess,Smith and Swann. Hmmmmmmmmmm...?

Interesting post slepe, I expect us to go and attack although with our defence do we go to Moneyfields and VT and do what AFC Totton did at Tatnam last season, hold firm and hit them with speed on the break ?
One player I thought was good yesterday who turned out a workman like heads down performance yesterday was White. I was also impressed by Walker, another good deliverer of the ball into the box.

You lot are right - as always! It's fairly critical but I'm feeling very confident - which is not a sensation I have experienced very often in life so far!

Both games will be tight, but think Mike Walker has been an inspired signing, think we will win the next two games by the odd goal.
