First 15 mins Poole were caught out a bit with Hayling looking better side. Great goal set Poole on their way however. Cross from Gill and header by Charlie Austin. Austin grabbed his second before half time with Poole in charge.
Poole much better in second half - really closing down Hayling when not in possession. Some good football from Poole and lots of chances. Third goal was an OG when Gill crossed and defender headed into own net.

A good result espeically as myself and a few others predicted the score! Such a shame the 'Mighty Magpies' lost to VTFC! (5-1) ;D ;D

Another entertaining day at Tatnam where Hayling proved the stubborn opposition that most predicted. I thought we dealt with them well and with every game we appear to have a stronger team, I was impressed by the new tall player at the back, another good deliverer of the ball. One highlight was the own goal, will you see better ? A great rocket header from a defender who kept calling out 'Lino' and received applause and chants of 'Lino' 'Lino' after his goal ;D

A good result, being they were the better side at the beginning of both halves. Nice first by Charlie, took the header really well

Will start a whip round for bags for m3 next home game, along with the one for a new hat for slepe :-) The third goal was a bullet, justice considering all he did was chelp and whinge "Lino" until then. Mike Walker has slotted in seamlessly, will take back what I said about Gilly being 3 feet tall by the end of the season, more like 2 1/2 feet the way he was running today. COYD

;DWhat you fancy? The baseball style or the beanie? Myself would prefer the beanie, you can pull it down over the ears on the cold Tatnum nights
I can chuck a quid in the fund if you're desperate

I don't seem to have as much to write on today's game - not sure if that is because there was less incidents or I was distracted by my younger son!
For the first 20 minutes Poole really did not get going and I felt Hayling looked the better team - passing nicely even if not that threatening (although Jason pulled off 1 good save to keep them out). But as often has been the case this season, Poole sprung to life and suddenly scored. Great to see Charlie back in to his goal scoring role - 2 well taken first half goals. Shame Browner missed a sitter in the first half and also a good chance in the second half.
Michael Walker slotted in well and had a really good game. He has an awesome kick; given Jason wasn't kicking (does anyone know why?) I was surprised Michael did not kick out rather than Luke.
The second half just seemed to drift by. Poole were really in control and Hayling threatened very little. Quality own goal seeled it for Poole.
Bring on Moneyfields & VT - now for the real test!
It was really good to see Adam Tong at the game although sad to see him leave early in the second half clearly suffering. Hope Adam is feeling better now.
