Thanks for all the tips stfcinbmth. Every now and then my PC makes an annoying wirring labouring noise and slows down. Sometimes freezing once a day in the early hours, this is normally sorted with a re-start. Question; is this normal ?
I've done a 'disk cleanup' and 'disk refragmentation'. Is there anything else I can do to clean out the system ?
TIA

;DLiterally, take the side panel off, get a soft brush and clean off all the fans especially the cpu fan(that's the one that sits on a block of aluminium or copper) Then just a general hoover out
Does sound like a dirty cpu fan to me
