I was at the wimborne game the other night and was really impressed with micky hubbards resilience. after a poor free-kick which arguably led to the magpies first goal he stuck at with it where a lot of players would have gone missing in such a big game under that much pressure to perform. to come up with an equaliser 15 mins from time i think is no less than the lad deserved! what a right foot by the way ;D

I couldn't agree more. Micky has been one of the stars for me, a major reason for the success we have enjoyed. He reads the game so well and as you say "what a right foot" he has.

I can vouch for Micky's right foot, I was stood right behind the net at Lymo when he struck his goal - then there was the long range shot the Merthyr keeper touched on to the bar. Doing a comparison with pro players I would say Micky's a bit of a Tim Cahill, although TC is better with his head for his size. TC also has had the comfort of playing alongside a 'holding midfielder', something that Micky has not had the luxury of and has to 'to and fro' from the middle with Taff, which makes MH's achievements all that more remarkable. Keep it up Micky, along with the rest of the team you give good entertainment. COYD!
